BritPie collects as little about you as we can get away with. Here's the full picture, in plain English.

What we collect, and why. If you subscribe to The BritPie Post, we hold your email address, because a newsletter is difficult to send without one. That's the only personal information we ask for. We don't run advertising trackers and we don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone. If you email us, we'll have whatever you chose to write, and we'll use it to reply.

Where it lives. This site and its subscriber list are hosted by Ghost, our publishing platform, on their secure servers. Your email address stays there and goes nowhere else.

Cookies. The site uses a small number of functional cookies, the kind that keep things working if you're logged in as a subscriber. Nothing follows you around the internet on our behalf. If you click through to a retailer from one of our links, that retailer may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which is worth knowing and entirely between you and them. Should we ever add analytics to the site, we'll say so here first.

Your rights. You can unsubscribe from The BritPie Post at any moment using the link in any email, and it works immediately, no questions and no guilt trip. Under UK data protection law you can also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it altogether. Email [your contact email] and we'll sort it out promptly.

Who we are. BritPie is run by Kate, from England. For anything privacy-shaped, write to info@britpie.com
